Condoms add to enjoyment of bus ride

Free condoms on buses in Chongqing are proving popular with passengers.
From April 2006, bus route 819 and the Family Planning Committee of the city's Nan'an District began a joint project to put free condoms on board.
"We have 45 vehicles along the bus line and every week we put some 4,000 condoms on these buses," said one bus dispatcher.
"Generally the condoms will all be gone within three days. It seems local people take the buses specially for the free condoms."
